Dino Ciccarelli

Dino Ciccarelli was a professional hockey player who now owns a dance club called Club 22. His nicknames were the "Garbage Man" and "Dino the Dinosaur" and he scored over 600 NHL goals, almost beating Bobby Hull's record.

Ciccarelli played hockey like a professional when he was a rookie. The Minnesota North Stars took a chance on the junior after his injury. He was traded to the Red Wings, the Tampa Bay Lightning, on to the Bolts, then to the Florida Panthers before his career ended due to injuries.

Medical doctors told Ciccarelli that he would not play hockey again after he broke his leg in his second year. He worked hard during his year and a half of rehabilitation to show the physicians that he would play hockey again. In 1988, Ciccarelli was charged with assault against another player, Luke Richardson, for attempting to hit him in the head with a board. He spent one day in jail and was fined $1000. He has had other injuries, such as a sprained ankle and an ailing back, which limited him to 14 games in the 1998-1999 season. Ciccarelli retired with a chronic back problem and a near record-breaking 608 goals.

Club 22 is supposed to target people from ages 22 to 55, because Ciccarelli wants a mature crowd. The club was a furniture store in which Ciccarelli invested hundreds of dollars in order to turn it into a nightclub. The nightclub has four dance floors with a VIP room, since Dino loves music and crowds of people.
