FedEx Feild, Washington Redskins

The NFL Football Season is upon us again. Fans will be gathering in homes and stadiums to cheer on their teams. One of the NFL's most popular teams is the Washington Redskins, which was established in 1932. This team’s home field is FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

The Redskins played their first game here on September 14, 1997. FedEx Field is the largest stadium in the league. Over 91,000 screaming fans gather here every year to watch their team and enjoy the many amenities the stadium has to offer. There are several restaurants overlooking the field as well as the Redskins Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame has forty names of both players and coaches. The most recent Redskins players to be inducted into the "Pro Football Hall of Fame" are Darrell Green and Art Monk on February 2, 2008. You are sure to see these along with many other great names in NFL history here in the Redskins Hall of Fame.

Among the Redskins' League achievements are two NFL Championships, and three Super Bowl Championships in 1982, 1987, and 1991.
Along with making great plays on the field, the Washington Redskins players make some great ones off the field. They have the Redskins Charity Challenge to support many charities such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics Virginia, and many others.

With the returning ball players along with the new recruits, this season the Washington Redskins may be able to bring another championship home to the FedEx Field.
