Jim Zorn is the 27th head coach for the Washington Redskins in the history of Redskins football. Jim Zorn also was a football player himself for the National League of football. He was the quarterback for the team and a left-handed one at that. Zorn was a quarterback coach for the Seahawks until he was hired as the official head coach for the Redskins in 2008. Most of Zorn’s coaching career has been to coach the quarterbacks. He has also done some assistant coaching for some teams too.
In 1997, Zorn went to the pro football leagues to do coaching and he has been there since. His first team was the Seahawks and then went to the Detroit Lions to be their quarterback coach. When 2001 came, Zorn went back to the Seahawks as their quarterback coach and he stayed there until he became the Redskins head coach. He became the head coach due to Joe Gibbs retirement and being chosen by Snyder, the Redskins owner.
Now that Zorn is the new head coach and some of the players are disappointed that Williams did not get the job, he will have to prove himself to the team that the job will get done on a fine standing of getting out there to win.
Zorn will make a decision on what he might do in how he wants to play the quarterbacks. He is thinking on rotating them differently. He wants to see Brennan operate in a different way as an offensive player, but he will still be out on the field a lot.
