The Washington Wizards are the lucky team in the NBA because of Gilbert Arenas. Gilbert came to play with the Wizards in 2004. He has been there since, having great success with the team and the fans who admire him for his outstanding performance.

In 2003, Arenas was nominated for most improved player of the year and took it home with him that year after winning it. He has become one of the NBA’s strongest guards in the NBA.

Arenas was out for a period of time in 2007 due to a knee injury. He was out until the month of April when he returned to action. Gilbert will be back for the 2008 season as he has signed a contract worth 111 million dollars for the next six years.

Arenas has many pre game superstitions and will do the same thing before all of his games. He will drive his car the same way to the games and that includes driving in the same lane on the highway. Gilbert will go out to eat at Boston Market to fill his stomach before the game. When he arrives at the game he will park his car only in one particular parking space. Getting ready for the game he will dress himself in the same order each and every time, his shirt first. They always huddle before the game starts and when they do he will tickle Jamison in the armpit prior to the opening sentence. As they get ready to play, Arenas will take one shot from the center of the court for a practice shot and then move on for the game.
