The Washington Redskins will never forget their free safety, Sean Taylor.  Taylor died after being shot when someone invaded his home.  The entire team was in shock when the news started spreading about Taylor’s death.  Taylor was the Redskin's best player.  He was the one that kept the opponents on their toes as the team played.  He had the quickness of a cornerback and the size of a linebacker.  As a player, Taylor had the combination of size, speed, strength and agility, and hard hitting.  He was a tremendous loss to the Washington Redskins.

Taylor’s death not only effected the team’s games but it also affected his teammates who are now mourning the death of a friend.  The Washington Redskins are doing several things to help the team and the fans remember Sean Taylor.  One of the ways that the Redskins are remembering Taylor is taking care of his daughter.  The team has set up a trust fund for baby Jackie who was only 1 year old at the time of her father’s death.  Taylor’s parking spot and his locker have become memorialized.  The contents of this locker haven’t been touched by anyone since he died.  

Surely, this is going to be another hard year for Sean Taylor’s family, friends, teammates and fans.  The Washington Redskins must start a new season without one of their best players.   The Washington Redskin players are working hard at their game in honor of Sean Taylor.  That is another way that they are keeping his memory alive.  He will be missed and remembered.
